Shadowing Program

Any 2l or above member of the Bernard Jefferson senate may request to be interviewed for a board member position for shadowing purposes only.

The current board member holding office of the board position said candidate is requesting to be interviewed for will have the right to determine who is best fit for the position if more than one person is requesting an interview.

Elected shadowing member entails said person to the following:

  • Attend meetings regularly as scheduled by the board.
  • Cooperate with supervising board member.

Shadowing members are subject to the same rules as regular board members outlined in the bylaws, with the exclusion of voting rights.

At the discretion of the supervising board member, the shadowing member will be scrutinized during a probationary period of 6 weeks.

Any shadowing member after serving 2 consecutive semesters (fall & spring), will be eligible to run for that board member position during elections with the endorsement of the supervising board member.
